Breastfeeding Women Less Likely To Develop Diabetes

Breastfeeding women are at reduced risk of developing diabetes later in life, a new study finds. The "surprising" finding has been made in a five-year study- titled "45 And Up" - examining the health of people in NSW aged 45 and over. "There are very few things you can actually do long term to prevent diabetes. But women who breastfed in their 20s, 30s and early 40s, actually prevented diabetes over their lifetime.
