Aspirin may Extend Survival for Some Colorectal Cancer Patients

According to a recent study, taking aspirin can prolong the life of patients suffering from colorectal cancers with a specific genetic mutation. The study of 900 patients carried out by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute -- an affiliate of Harvard Medical School -- found that the painkiller produced a "sharp jump in survival" among certain patients.
