Very Elderly Population Does Not Have Access to Simple Heart Treatments



A new study conducted by researchers at Newcastle University has said that people over 87 years of age do not have access even to simple heart treatments that could improve their quality of life. Studying a group of people aged 87 to 89 years old, the team of researchers at Newcastle University found that a routine test in the home revealed that around a quarter of them had undiagnosed heart problems which could be treated with established and cost-effective treatments. ...
