Risk of Stroke Two Times More in Permanent AF Compared to Paroxysmal AF

The risk of stroke is found to be two times more in permanent atrial fibrillation compared to paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, reveals research in more than 6000 patients and presented at ESC Congress today by Dr Thomas Vanassche from Belgium.
