Bacteria Become Resistant to Antibiotics When Stressed

A research published in BioMed Central's open access journal iBMC Evolutionary Biology/i finds that bacteria become resistant to antibiotics when stressed. In particular iE. coli/i grown at high temperatures become resistant to rifampicin.
