For Papillary Thyroid Cancer Prognosis Older Age Marker May Be More Appropriate

A new study suggests that 65 may be a more accurate age marker for prognosis. This suggestion was made though age 45 is used to establish staging in well-differentiated papillary thyroid cancer using the American Joint Committee on Cancer and the International Union Against Cancer TNM Classification of Malignant Tumors (TNM) staging system.
