HIV/AIDS Anti-Diarrheal Drug Fulyzaq (Crofelemer) Approved By FDA

The first anti-diarrheal drug for HIV/AIDS patients, Fulyzaq (crofelemer 125 mg delayed-release tablets), has been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). The Agency informed that it is the second botanical medication it has approved. Fulyzaq (crofelemer) is taken to alleviate the symptoms of diarrhea in patients taking antiretroviral therapy for HIV/AIDS.
