Vaccine for Breast Cancer Shows Potential in Small Clinical Trail

A breast cancer vaccine has been found to be safe in patients with metastatic breast cancer, indicate results of early clinical trial. The breast cancer vaccine was developed at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Preliminary evidence also suggests that the vaccine primed the patients' immune systems to attack tumor cells and helped slow the cancer's progression.
