Patients Far More Likely to Have Imaging Scan If Seen by Non-Physician Provider

An imaging exam is 34 percent more likely to be prescribed by advance practice clinicians, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants, than primary care physicians, finds a study by Harvey L.
