Growth in Autism Due to Altered Diagnosis

Changes in the diagnostic criteria and in the registration to the national health registers contribute to sixty percent of increase in autism cases, shown in a new study. Only forty per cent of the notable increase in autism cases that has been registered during the past few decades is due to causes that are as yet unknown.
