Researchers have found clues that suggest why the parasite that causes toxoplasmosis creates inconsistent symptoms in humans. The team from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) published its findings on toxoplasma gondii, the malaria-linked parasite that causes toxoplasmosis, in the journal PLOS Pathogens, Medical News Today reports.
