Women With Metabolic Syndrome may Risk Death With Use of Hormone Therapy

A new analysis of the Women's Health Initiative (WHI) trials has found that women who had metabolic syndrome before they started hormone therapy for menopause symptoms have a greatly increased risk of heart attack and death from heart disease.
