South African HIV-Positive Men Face Increased Mortality

According to a study, in South Africa, HIV-infected men who are receiving treatment with anti-HIV drugs (antiretroviral therapy) are almost a third more likely to die than HIV-positive women. This is comparison with the women who are receiving similar treatment.
