Jury in Jodi Arias sentencing retrial reaches verdict: court official

A jury in Arizona deciding whether convicted murderer Jodi Arias should be put to death for killing her ex-boyfriend in 2008 has reached a verdict on its sixth day of deliberations, court officials said on Thursday. Court officials said the verdict will be read at 9:30 a.m. local time (1130 ET). Arias, 34, a 34-year-old former waitress from Salinas, California, was found guilty of the murder in 2013, but jurors at the original trial deadlocked on whether to give her the death penalty.
