Tearless Onions Could Help Fight Cardiovascular Disease

Tearless onions have been found to be good for heart health, say researchers. The findings of the study are published in ACS' iJournal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry/i. Colin C. Eady and colleagues note that the onion has a unique chemistry that leads to its tear-inducing effects when cut.
