Aspirin Resistance Linked to Severe and Larger Strokes

A new study has revealed that people who exhibit a resistance to aspirin may be more likely to have more severe strokes than people who respond to the drug. The study also found that larger areas of the brain were affected by the stroke in people with aspirin resistance. Aspirin works to help keep blood platelets from clotting.
