A new study conducted by Dutch researchers reveals that people who suffer from anorexia walk as if they are larger than they actually are. Researchers at Utrecht University observed 39 women, 19 with anorexia and 20 without the condition, as they walked through doors of varying sizes while performing a distracting memorization task.
