Make the Diagnosis: Ear Lesions

(MedPage Today) -- A 31-year-old woman patient presents for evaluation of a somewhat pruritic eruption on her ears, with scattered lesions on her cheeks and a few patches on her scalp. She notes some associated hair loss with the scalp lesions. She reports no new medications, and is feeling well overall. She denies oral lesions, joint pain, fevers, cough, chest pain, or other systemic symptoms. On exam, the patient has involvement of the ears as shown, with similar lesions on the scalp and a few scattered lesions on the cheeks as well.
